All of my students need to learn skills that will help them in the future and fulfill the requirements for a high school diploma. These materials will be used for projects that will teach students to interpret literature using pictures and graphs, which can someday be made into a PowerPoint presentation.
These supplies will provide the opportunity for all students to create their own project and give it some individuality, as well as having the markers to make posters for the hallway display.
The books we are reading this year are: Bad Boy by Walter Dean Myers; selections from Black Boy by Richard Wright; Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck and Shakespeare's Julius Ceasar.
