My kindergarteners are all bused in from their neighborhood. They get free and reduced breakfast and lunch at school every day. My class is all English Language Learners. Most of my students are up before 7AM getting ready to get on the bus to go to school in a very wealthy neighborhood. These children leave kindergarten speaking English and reading! They are all amazing kids.
