My name is Mrs. Drebing and I am an energetic special education teacher who loves her job every day. My school is located in a low income neighborhood. Over half of my students are hearing more than one language everyday. Most of my students are non verbal and are working on finding a way to communicate. Their disabilities range from severe autism, down syndrome, severe behavior and everything in between. Due to their lack of communication they exhibit a lot of extreme behaviors due to their frustration of not being understood. As a teacher it is frustrating when I can't always get the items and tools because of budgets to help them learn and grow.
