We are surrounded and bombarded with digital media. But do we really understand the impact our online behavior has on our real lives. My goal is "to support families in raising kids who think critically, participate responsibly, and behave ethically in their online lives."
Media Studies is a class that gives students a chance to examine their own digital footprint and how their actions online affect people offline. Using a project-based approach to teaching, students not only study digital citizenship but actually create several forms of media for our school and apply it.
