My vision for this project is to create a beautiful and a special space to promote independent readers. Additionally, the intention for this furniture is to use its visually appealing colors and comfortability to provide an inviting library environment. Students will able to chose their reading spots, as well as to collaborate with a partner and have meaningful conversations about specific books. Some students have limited resources at home and they don't have that special place to read. I would like my students to engaged themselves into the books and discover the power of reading. For example, I can imagine students sitting together and sharing a book. I also see myself sitting on the rug and listening to their conversations or having a read aloud.
