We need carpets to make our room as comfortable as possible and I need a color printer to print all the visuals my students need to be successful
The carpets will help my students be more comfortable in the classroom. It will feel more like their home, instead of a sterile classroom. This is especially important for young diverse learners to help with the transition from spending most of their time at home to spending most of their time at school. For some students with disabilities, especially severe disabilities, transitions can be difficult and new environments can be tough to get used to. With the addition of the carpets in the room, most of the cold and bland tile flooring will be covered. This will allow the students to be on the floor and be comfortable, since the floor is where pre-k students do most of their learning.
The printer will allow me to print the necessary visual supports my pre-k special education students require to be as successful as possible!
Thank you so much for your kind donations. My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Magiet
