Our school is known at a Title 1 school which means many of our students don't have as many resources or learning opportunities at home. School is the number one place they feel successful. A large majority of them are English Language Learners and rely on clear visuals and easy vocabulary to feel successful. The diversity makes my classes unique and gives us a chance to teach each other. We do many lessons in large and small groups together, gathered on the floor, at table or on the computers. It helps the students focus and not feel overwhelmed by everything the classroom has to offer. They need clear and understandable materials. They are our future and I want to give them the best technology education possible so they use it correctly.
