My students bring so much joy to my day. They all have IEPs and are working hard towards their goals on a daily basis. My students love having a daily routine, love seeing their friends at school, and want to please their teachers. They persist on their assignments and bring smiles to their teachers' faces daily. We are certainly a team. Our school is a safe environment where students are allowed to take risks and are encouraged to stand out and stand up for one another. I have been working at my school for 14 years and I absolutely love my job. I have the best team, the best students, and I am honored to work here. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and I am so glad that I am a special education teacher at my school.
