We are requesting a rug for our classroom to use during our morning meeting, story time, calendar, and whole group lessons. My students need a cozy carpet to invite them to learn. We spend most of our day on the floor and my students would love to have a comfy space of their own while they take on the learning challenges of kindergarten! Our classroom is currently growing in size, and we need more space.
Having this classroom rug will allow my students to stay focused on their classroom learning and reduce the anxiety of where they are going to sit.
It will also provide them with their own personal space.
Minimizing distractions and increasing their focus is optimal for helping kindergarteners learn and grow.
