These items will be used in the classrooms directly for the students to help them focus in class. I have the students check out the fidgets and sign a contract on expectations of how to use them and after they check them back in they write whether or not they worked for them. The journals will be used to help the students in the area of social-emotional learning. I started journaling this year with some students struggling in the area of SEL and have seen a huge difference in the areas of students' self-esteem, peer relationships, self-advocation and overall mental health. I want to continue this next school year.

About my class
