These cameras will be given to students to take photos of the world around them. The students will be going on field trips and around the community this year. During these trips we will take photos of things that interest them and they will write about their experiences and interests in class They will be encouraged to use art and expression during these experiences. Then they will connect these experiences to their futures. Then they will engage in standards based writing workshops to practice. This will help develop their writing skills, engage with the world around them, and grow as students.
