My students call me Ms. Gonzalez, and I teach 2nd grade at Anne Darling Elementary School in the San Jose Unified School District. My 2nd graders are so very eager to learn! Majority of these students are second language learners. Supplemental learning materials such as chapter books, math manipulatives, new technology, art supplies, and hands-on projects offer enriching experiences in all content areas. In public education, these materials are not easily accessible. With the help of Donors Choose, however, I can give my students equal access to the supplies they need for these learning opportunities. This motivates my students by making their learning fun and engaging!
