I am the chair of the math department at my school and teach Geometry and Calculus at an Urban High school in California. Our school has about 1600 students. In 2009 26% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunches, and 6% are English Language Learners. There are roughly 8 kids per computer at our school, but the state average is 4 kids per computer.
