Fractions can be a difficult concept for students to learn. Math manipulatives can help students understand new concepts by giving them something that's not only tangible, but fun. In the past, I have made fraction strips out of paper. Unfortunately, these models do not last as long as I need them to in order to complete our fraction unit. I have found that my students are more engaged and focused when they use math manipulatives during our lessons. It would benefit my students greatly to have fraction manipulatives that are both durable and long lasting. Please help my students by donating to our math needs with the requested fractions kit.
