At a time when so much emphasis is placed on the weight of standardized testing, my students need more opportunities to read, relax, learn, color, create, and discover their passion without the worry of a score or grade. The 600+ students in 6-8 grade at our school would thrive in a space designed for them to build, tinker, and create. They need an environment where it is okay to try new things and fail, because the best learning happens in a setting where failure is okay and just another opportunity to try again. We serve kids from 6th to 8th grade (ages 11-14) and we represent and embrace many races, languages, cultures, and learning styles! Students Receiving Free/Reduced Lunch 32.4% (2017) Thank you for considering helping our kiddos! They're pretty much made of AWESOME!
