The MHS/HMS robotics team is a very dedicated, hard working and talented group of students ranging from thirteen to eighteen years of age. They meet two and a half hours a day after school to develop the best VEX Robotics competition robots they can. They have been working since September to achieve the dream of making it to the World Championships. They did indeed qualify for World's by winning the VRC NC High School State Championship and the NC VRC Middle School Excellence award, (the highest award you can win). Now they just need the finances to get them there. The school system can not fund activities such as this, therefore, we are forced to raise the money ourselves. The students have been actively fundraising on their own as well. In all we need to raise $4400 for the trip. Every little bit helps. Thank you in advance for any donations you can make.
