Our world is changing. It is more technology driven than ever before. We need to start kids off in Kindergarten becoming familiar and comfortable with technology. One of the up and coming sectors in technology is coding. Many careers of the future will involve coding.
Putting Bee Bots in the hands of my students will enable them to learn math and literacy concepts in an innovative way. Bee bots are coding robots that move on a grid. I can interchange the grid to incorporate things that my students need to learn like letters and sounds, numbers, addition and subtraction and sight words. By placing problems or items for recognition on the grid students will be able to program their Bee Bot to move to the answer to a problem that they have been asked. This is such a fun way to incorporate technology and coding skills of the future into our everyday learning.
