We are a STEM school entering our 11th year, located in East Flatbush Brooklyn New York. Our student population are predominantly African-American and Hispanic. They are inquisitive, extremely bright, and gifted artist. Most of our students come from economically disadvantage families who are unable to provide access to computers or other technology in the home, so school is the only opportunity to close the technology gap.
In a small, safe community where every student is known, our school prepares young scholars in grades 6 - 8 for success in high school & college. We believe adolescents learn best when skills are embedded in reading, investigations, research and real-world problems. Our school provides classes such as Algebra for all, Living Environment as well as Computer Science, where students are learning how to code.
