Throughout the day, students are coming and going from my classroom. When we are not working as a group, my students like to work independently throughout the room. This includes independently reading at times. Several students work better when having the option to learn or read when sitting on the floor or in more comfortable seating. Having a rug so everyone can meet and learn would be very helpful concerning group work. Having chairs away from the group can also be helpful for those students who struggle to work with others and for those who need space at times of frustration. They will be very beneficial for my classroom. These are areas in my room that I lack and need! Please help give these kids an inviting place to learn!
