My second grade students need these math materials to use during our intervention math time. While I am working with small groups of children, my students will be working at their individual levels practicing specific concepts they need to help their little minds grow mathmatically.
One of the activities that I am requesting include math folder games for practicing time, money and basic facts. These games allow kids to grab a folder and have all the materials to play the game right there. I am also requesting board games (addition and subtraction tower of math) that allow children to practice their basic facts so needed to be successful in the second grade.
My students need games and activities that are engaging and fun, that will hold their attention while they are working independently. These math materials will give my students a chance to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, money, time and place value in more engaging ways. Children need several times to practice new math concepts before they become successful.
