My students attend a Title I, school in sunny Florida with a majority of students receiving free or reduced lunch. The population is Hispanic, African American, and White. Many students in the neighborhood lack the basic things they need at home such as adequate food, clothing, and school supplies. Despite these hardships, our children are eager to learn and driven to succeed from Kindergarten all the way through 5th grade. They are the bright future of our community!
