Imagine being at a performance in the community, and the jazz band is ready to transition to the next song. Instead of hearing my students' beautiful music, you hear "squeak, squeak, squeak" from our old hand-me-down music stands as we are changing position. I would like to provide my students with new music stands that are silent, in good condition, and enough for all musicians to read their music without such disruption.
These new music stands will allow our audiences to focus on our students' amazing musical gifts. Proper music stands would provide my students with the equipment we need to succeed.
