My students are vivacious 7th grade students who are eager to learn.
Many of my students are not used to getting new/nice supplies. Most of the projects that I put up on Donors Choose are to give my students experiences they would not have otherwise.
I want my classroom to feel like "home". I want it to be a safe zone, somewhere where the students feel wanted and valued.
These students, when given something they know others have paid for, are truly grateful. They comprehend the generosity it takes for others to care enough to give back. Everyone student in my class writes thank you letters to our donors to make sure they're able to share their thoughts with you.
Giving to my classroom means giving to students who will take that product/experience and run with it. My students are the future. Help make it better by teaching them about giving!
