As a new teacher, supplying the classroom with the hands on resources the students need makes for a great day! Having a rug to use for morning meeting with a rainbow will help encourage positive balance in my classroom as well as incorporating an important classroom management resource that is needed. The books will be a blessing as many of our students do not have books at home to read. Having a complete set according to reading levels will help keep the kids focused on success! The joy on their faces when they see the new books will be a delight to myself and parents as they learn the importance of reading.
