My class is a wonderful group of students! They are full of life and energy! I teach in a highest poverty school, and my students are reaching their fullest potential! One thing that is common in every child in this classroom is that they are all hard workers! Each day, this classroom full of 20 second grade students works so hard to reach their goals! Unfortunately, in order to reach these goals, we ask students to sit still for a better part of 6 hours a day! Although they do their best, asking a student who is 7 to 8 years old to sit in a hard chair all day is not appropriate seating! I would like to provide them with flexible seating that allows them to maintain focus, and continue to maximize their learning growth this year!
