Hi there! Welcome to my kindergarten classroom! I teach an integrated class of 22 students, meaning that there are a number of students with special needs. Our Integrated Kindergarten (IK) Program is unique because I co-teach with a full-time SPED teacher and have a full-time aide as well. I believe in seamless integration and differentiation within the classroom because every kindergartener has the right to be in a general-education population. We are constantly changing, modifying, and implementing new things in this classroom to fit the needs of our students. As much as we want our students with special needs to succeed, we also do our best to make the whole class feel as important and capable. Some days are good, some days are challenging, but these kiddies surprise me each day! Thanks for stopping by!
