With this sudden transition to distance learning, having current, up-to-date technology has become more important than ever. With this iPad and keyboard setup, I will be able to stream my distance lessons seamlessly to my students, providing them with a richer, more rewarding learning experience. Since my school is 100% online until at least October, it is vital for my students to receive quality, focused instruction every day. This iPad setup will help me better reach my students, as my current technology setup includes an old Dell computer, a Chromebook, and my own older MacBook Air. This leads to less-than-ideal digital teaching experiences. The technology I use now frequently lags, leading to wasted instructional time, less student engagement, and a less efficient and pleasant learning experience for my students. This iPad will allow me to use our precious instructional time wisely while creating smoother, more seamless lessons for my students.
