It is barely the first month of school and the majority of my students have already run out of glue sticks. They use them daily in every content class, and especially in math. Since our classes are only 45 minutes, I make it a priority to print out notes so that the students don't take up too much time writing the key concepts in their notebook.
Gluing the information in their notebooks saves us a lot of class time and assures that the students have the adequate time necessary to learn the math concepts through guided and independent practice.
Having extra glue sticks and pencils in my class will save my students the hassle and time of having to ask a friend if they can borrow their supplies.
