My class loves Lego sets! They play with them daily. I like to use those manipulatives in my classroom that they are interested in to teach academic concepts. My students have started connecting the dots between building with LEGO bricks and mathematics concepts of shape, size, and quantity. I want them to be able to extend their learning into scientific concepts as well. This would be possible if they have more variety of LEGO DUPLO blocks and a LEGO DUPLO table to build on. A lot of the LEGO bricks they have are not usable because they are old and broken. Let's give them new LEGO sets so that they can continue to learn math and science concepts.
