I teach third grade at a Title 1 school in Oklahoma. Title 1 means that a vast majority of our student population is underprivileged and qualify/receive free or reduced lunches. Literacy is exceptionally important at our school. Our school takes pride in our guided reading program. We are able to take the time to meet with small groups of students for differentiated instruction. Our main purpose is for our students to succeed. I am exceptionally grateful for Donors Choose and I know by working together we can live up to the famous Dr. Seuss when he says, "You have brains in your head, you have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose."
Thank you in advance for your support in steering these students in any direction they choose.
