For my classroom, I love small group pull out for reading and math! It is the perfect way to see where each student is at and aid any student that might be struggling with the lesson. I want to create a small group area where I can enrich students where they need help! Everybody makes mistakes and I want to give my students the ability to learn from those mistakes through the use of dry erase materials while giving them an inviting place to sit down for small groups!
Dry erase materials and stools allow students to express their ideas and thoughts comfortably without making it permanent! Students can erase, reevaluate, and redo their work at this small group table and not be afraid to share their ideas with me or their fellow classmates. Students need a place to sit as well! Having stools provides more space to move around the classroom while giving them a change of scenery for small group lessons.
