I teach over 60 students every year, age 3-6, at an inner city school. Many of these students have never held a pencil or colored a picture. About half of these students each year are underdeveloped in speech and language and ALL of the students are hungry and excited about new experiences! These kids love hands on activities and I have found that making each lesson memorable and "over the top" helps them to, not only retain the content, but apply it.
