My students are FINALLY back in the classroom after 11 months away. We are SO EXCITED to be back, but things definitely look different!
In the case of hybrid learning, sharing is NOT caring. Student are learning in two separate groups, have to socially distance, and need to have individual supplies. With these guidelines, I need more math manipulatives in order to give each student the supplies they need.
I want students to know that math is fun and they can learn in a variety of way! We are working to build skills in multiplication and division, with fractions coming up. I want to create math tri-folds, with templates from teacher pay teacher, to give students the references materials they need. I want number tiles so that students can guess and check work while doing tile math. I want a variety of blocks, and other tools so students can work independently at a variety of different math centers around the room. I believe students learn best by exploring and doing.
Please help me help my students grow their love of math!
