Having more fidgets for my students to use within the classroom and school environment will help lessen their anxieties, lessen frustrations, and meet their sensory needs. Student will be able to carry these items around the school environment to also aid in transitions. By using flexible seating options such as wiggle cushions and yoga ball chairs, all students can learn with the comfort of sensory input by the item of their choice. The goal is to increase concentration and limit frustrations for my students with special needs within the school environment. Sensory items can make a big difference in a student's day, and having multiple options and choices for each students will help individualize their day.
