The students in my classroom are English Language Learners. Some are brand new to the country, and are just starting to learn English, while others have been learning for a few years now, and still need support while learning and using their two (and sometimes three) languages.
The languages spoken in my classroom range from Spanish, Vietnamese, and Arabic to Turkish, Portuguese, and French. The students I work with are diverse in every way, and I strive to support their cultures and home languages as best I can while they are here with me and learning English!
