My students are increasing their love of reading by having books in their sight everyday. They have requested many books for the library in our classroom, which has outgrown the shelves that were in the class when I moved in, and enjoy coming up to read in the classroom during lunch. We have many bean bag chairs in the class that students like to read and work in. After a year of wear and use, they need to be refilled. I am hoping to increase the number of comfy chairs that are in the room so we can move towards alternative seating and encourage the students to read and grow into the amazing individuals they are.
