Our southern Maine school is in a former mill town populated by hard-working blue collar families, many of whom have experienced major economic hardship. In fact, over half of our students qualify for free or reduced lunches. Despite economic challenges, our students are extremely proud of their school and deeply motivated to succeed. Our students use books to explore the world outside their community and to prepare for successful lives after high school.
