I want my students to be able to have a spot of their own in the classroom when they are reading or relaxing. By having yoga mats, the students will have comfort and a rectangle of space that is only for them. They will be able to stretch out and focus on the task at hand. These mats will be used for independent reading and work, as well as meditation. Everyone has bad days and this will give the students a safe space to be away from everyone else. I want my students to not be confined to they desks all day and having these mats, we will be able to work all around the room!

About my class
