Front Row, Epic!, and benchmark testing OH MY! Headphones and computer mice would make it far easier for my students to be more efficient during 1:1 Chromebook time. While working independently, and doing audio books in class, there are 26 Chromebooks reading out loud all at once! Students are forced to turn down the volume to an nearly inaudible level and stick their ears close to the speakers. Headphones will help my students be able to tune into the audio books being read to them, as well as directions from assessments. MAP testing (our district benchmark) is a stressful time for my students, with clicking and dragging on the trackpad being a nightmare for them. Computer mice would make it much easier for students to move around items during a test.
