The students in my school are predominantly Latino and African American from families with lower incomes. As with most children, they don't think about their family's income, but more about what they can enjoy! There are approximately 1,000 students in the school and I teach half of them in a computer lab setting: kindergarten, 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th grades. Our students enjoy learning about new things and are fascinated about how things work. As the sign next to Harvard Bear indicates, focus and perseverance will lead to success. For our students, the possibilities are endless!
