I teach a wonderful class of students with moderate to severe disabilities in grades four to six. These children have instructional levels ranging from preschool to early second grade. Many are learning the alphabet and sight words and others are learning to distinguish between colors and shapes. The class focuses on both functional academics and life skills due the the nature of the range of disabilities. Unfortunately there is no single curriculum that addresses the needs of every child I teach.
