My students are diverse in their needs, interests, and abilities. The dynamic of our classroom is that of abundant acceptance and effort. The vast majority of my students have not gone to preschool, yet welcome the challenge of a full academic day vivaciously. Full day kindergarten is challenging for this group but the extent to which they have grown is immense. We celebrate success and we acknowledge struggle because kindergarten is the foundation of academic endeavors and all students deserve to feel supported and encouraged.
