My students LOVE being able to pick and choose which books they read during independent time. We hold competitions and fun conversation games about their books and it really gets them activity thinking about literature! These new graphic novels and other assorted books will help both my struggling and accelerated readers when it comes time for independent reading. I want my students to be confident with themselves as readers, and the only way to do so is through exposure to new and exciting material! With these new books, my students will be able to uncover more about themselves as students than they could before!
