I teach in a Title I school where many of our students do not have access to books at home. By giving my students access to new titles in a cozy classroom library with brand new bookcases, students will be able to develop their literacy skills on a daily basis and learn how to search for books that interest them on the shelves. They will have a variety of books to choose from that cater to their interests and their individual reading levels.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement, but you will also be helping to improve their literacy skills.
