My focus behind starting this project was to really increase the love of reading, in my students. We try to encorporate fun things in lessons, hands on activities, and as much moving around as possible, but as much as we all hate, reading is a sitting still activity. I would love for my students to be able to have a comfy place to get away and really add an extra piece of enjoyment to their daily reading. We read, collectively, for about three hours a week. What a treat it would be for my students to be able to enjoy reading just that much more by sitting in a comfortable beanbag chair!

About my class
