My Title I school was built in the early 1920s. We have gorgeous floors but they are incredibly loud and can easily scuffed. Additionally, our chairs are mismatched and many are missing their pads leaving pure metal to wreck our wooden, creaky, beautiful flooring. Attaching pre-cut tennis balls to my chairs will greatly reduce the noise and distraction.
Some students have autism and have a difficult time with sensory issues. Chairs being pulled every direction makes for a high-stress​ environment. Noisy chairs cause for constant interruption and raises the volume of a classroom tenfold. Please help make my classroom as quiet, productive, and effective as possible.
