Our school is a small neighborhood school with amazing teachers, incredible kids, and a love of learning. Our elementary school is located in a loving community of Westminster, CO. Our school is not only an incredible place for students to learn, but also an environment that can transform students. My classroom community is student orientated, welcoming, and warm. My students are eager to learn, have incredible potential, and are highly respected by both me and their peers. The overarching goal in my reading classroom is to make life long readers. Students who read not because they have to but because the want to. We have a wonderful school library that is staffed by the most knowledgeable of bookworms. We work to together to get kids excited about reading, and to build our classroom libraries. We want to take that one step further, and deepen our students experience with texts.
