Being a product of the Hawaii Public schools myself, from k-12 to college, I am proud to be able to serve the Hawaii Department of Education as a Special Education Teacher. My students are some of the finest soon-to-be adults and I hold them dear to my heart. Everything that I have learned in my life, I take with me in my classroom to teach and show empathy, forgiveness, high expectations, quality work, character, having a positive mindset, and being able to work through life by teaching practical strategies that help make their lives better.These students give back to me so much every day. With your support, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and couldn't be prouder of the effect it will have on my students; or our future adults.
