My students at EHMS come from a diverse community, filled with a variety of countries, cultures, languages, and backgrounds. Many of the kids come from low income households and struggle to pay for materials to enhance their learning. They do the best with what they have and truly want to learn and succeed. Along with teaching academics, I also work with the students to ensure confidence, empathy, community service, and kindness. My goal as a teacher is to not only teach, but also to help these children grow up into mature young adults that have what it takes to make a difference in this world.
