I teach eighth grade language arts to 120 students in Hialeah, Florida. My students are a diverse group of learners with a real thirst for knowledge and determination to succeed in high school. They are voracious readers, yet have little access to a variety books that interest them. Our school is a Title I school, which means that a large majority of our students are categorized as economically disadvantaged.
